How Dr. Miranda generated over $5,200 of Non-Patient Income to her practice from a one-hour webinar!

Let’s face it, helping patients and getting paid for it is a beautiful thing.

But we all know you can only see so many patients in a week or month.

So, the question is how can you increase your income without adding new patients to your already busy schedule?

Here’s how we helped one very busy and successful Naturopathic Doctor do it…

I’m not sure if you are currently offering webinars and/or online health programs or not. 

Perhaps you have it figured out and are doing great with them. 

Or perhaps you have tried them and not had much success. 

Either way, I think Dr. Sandra Miranda’s webinar story might inspire you to either get started or keep going and take your online programs to new heights! 

A few years ago, one of my amazing clients in our ND Achievers Club, Dr. Sandra Miranda ND, was working really long hours in her practice helping hundreds of patients with their health. She was dedicated, focused and ambitious, but she admitted she was starting to feel overwhelmed and exhausted. She knew she couldn’t keep that pace and those hours up without burning out.

She decided to try to make webinars and online programs an income generating part of her practice so she could help more people without adding more patients to her busy schedule.

As she said herself, she was a bit afraid of the technology but was willing to face her fears. The amount of content she had to create from scratch and the technology learning curve was a huge task on top of her already very successful practice.

As her coach I knew she could do it and I encouraged her to work through it and understand it’s a “work hard once” model that she can scale globally with if she wants, once she figures out all the details.

Sandra, being the amazing dedicated and driven doctor that she is, worked though it and was finally ready to do her first webinar.

But …

Unfortunately, only a few people registered even less attended. Sandra was very disheartened and needless to say hugely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of success of her first webinar. In one of our coaching calls she shared that she was exhausted and couldn’t go through that again and decided not to try again for a while.

Having been through a similar experience with my own first four or five webinars before I figured out what works and what doesn’t… I kept encouraging her to keep going. I explained that most of the hard work was already done and all she had to do was set the date and send the four marketing emails and keep trying.

Sandra eventually got back on the horse so to speak and began doing webinars again periodically with mixed results.

One day, after doing a free webinar, Sandra texted me to share that she changed one key point in her webinar and she had six ladies sign up for her online program during the webinar!

Within 24 hours, more attendees signed up for her program and from that one hour free webinar Sandra added over $5,200 in revenue to her practice from webinars!

What did she change? She focused on the benefits, not the process. Less about logistics and more about solutions and results people could expect from her program.

People buy solutions, not programs or appointments.

Update: Since then, she continues offering webinars and has turned some of her online programs into evergreen solutions that people can buy 24/7 to educate themselves on specific health concerns without Sandra having to be there.
