When hiring new staff in your practice the most important factor that you need to look for is “do they care?”
- Do they care about themselves?
- Do they care about others?
- Do they care about their performance?
- Do they care about the team?
Sure you want them to be able to do the job, but you can train them on that … if they care. But you cannot train them to care.
So take your time to develop a three part interview process to get to know your potential team members – before they get on your payroll!
Interview one – Are they qualified?
Interview two – Are they the type of person you want on your team?
Interview three – Do you both agree it is a good fit?
If so offer them the job!
